Massive win for the VFL tigers today 25-13-163 to Werribee 9-7-61!

Hard to read the VFL site but we were up by 76 points at half time and cruised from there. Lots of goals to everyone. Any reports from the locals?

    Jack G hurt his ankle.

Connor M looked to have broken his nose.

Griff played 50% of game time. So we played 1 short after Jack G came off towards the end of the 2nd.

    They played poorly.

    Silverstro starred.

Bolton kicked 5, Lennon 4 & Griffiths 2. They were ahead of us on the ladder so that was a massive win.

I'm a bit surprised that Bolton wasn't selected in the senior team this week ?

    He will be next week.

If we run like in the ones like they did in the 2s, just sit back and enjoy. They played excellent footy today.

He may, but not sure it's deserved. Some selfish play (and some brilliance because of that), but some of those goals came from great efforts from the likes of BLennon, CMoore, Wombo, amongst others.

I don't think he deserved to be in the magoos in the first place Big Tige ?

He was the difference in the first half against Sydney and almost single handedly gave us a chance to win that game so that's good enough for me. He should be in the senior team.

Two weeks after the Sydney game he was rested/managed and then sent back to VFL ?

Play the kid. He's a wildcard.

He was also *part* the difference in the second half v Sydney given he apparently ducked over to the Swinburne centre at half time.

The key bits that stood out for me,
Silvestro will probably get an AFL gig next year. Fast, hard and very good skills.
Oleg the best of our group in my eyes. Good skills, good decisions and great running.
Mabs playing fullback. Makes really good decisions and and has excellent skills. If he missed a target I didn't see it.
Ben, Callum and Elton all played well, led up well took good grabs. Callum also rucked and played on ball a bit. The kid is fast.
Silk is just that, silk. Intercepted well, harrases well and tackled well. Played off half back so didn't see the ball much.
Jacob is a beast. Tackled hard and nearly, legally, killed a guy.
Our tackling overall was intense and the our run and skills were highly enjoyable to watch. Towards the end Werribee weren't interested anymore. They avoided contact at times. Was noticeable.

FWIW, i would like to see Towner or Moore get a gig.

Wombo ahead of Shaker Shay for mine.

Moore could be something special. Great speed and an excellent mark. Still learning the game.

Graham had 21 touches in the first half but copped a sprained ankle I think and didn't play any of the 2nd half. Unlucky for the kid.

Well Shai obviously but they all scored today so that makes a tough decision. On game style and how I see us trying to play I'd have to say Oleg, but Nathan did not disgrace today so that gets tougher.

Kam was also good overhead today and down the line so was a viable target. That changes the mix.

If Callum plays a couple more like that then I'd say he's a chance. Though if Griff stays fit and runs out two full games then he'd have to be at the front of the queue. But at least we now seem to have 3 options, and possibly 4 when Daryl gets back.

From straight out play I'd say Jacob, but with Miles doing his job and Dion doing the defensive work and Snipper not being exposed, I think Jacob will only get a gig if Josh gets hurt.

I bet our AFL side would like to have the VFL sides run home !!!

They play the bottom five sides over the last five rounds !!!

    Collingwood
    North Ballarat (0 wins)
    Geelong
    Coburg (1 win)
    Sandringham

Get on them for a top 4 finish....
