I reckon a handful of those involved today are expendable from what I saw on the teev. Not naming names yet though as I may be completely, totally and utterly wrong... ;)

This is a guy who was on our membership cards a year or so ago. He's being Rodney Dangerfieldedededed.

    Hedge!

Miles was nothing special. Nth Ballarat had nothing. Coburg reserves would have made more of a contest. Stengle and maybe Mabs can take something out of that game. Possibly Jacob as well as he seemed to be playing the mid/forward role. He led well, contested well and kicked 5. We reckoned 5 was just par for the course for Sam and Ben. The opposition was that bad.

Good response from Lennon and happy to see some guys like Lloyd, Miles and Townsend keep the pressure on the ones.

Ms Tantie - I agree with Vines - who does he replace.

I dont think it is a question of favourites - it is a question of team balance. Miles would be a like for like replacement for Prestia - in and under mid. Miles doesnt have great leg speed but he is at the bottom of the packs dishing it out...same as Prestia. If Prestia goes down injured, then Miles would be a shoe in to walk into the team. But Miles doesnt replace a Connor Mendue (if you wanted to pick on Connor) as they play different roles, likewise he doesnt come in for a Houli or a Rance or Griff.

I wouldn't get excited about this match,Nth Ballarat are on skid row ,very lucky to even be playing this year, which is a shame because they will be having their first Afl game in Ballarat this year

    This match was practice .

Danny did play. Most of the back line had a long afternoon tea, only disturbed by the siren, when they had to pack up and move ends.

Despite that, he had 9 disposals for the day (5 kicks, 4 handballs, 4 marks and a tackle)

Nice release from D50 once or twice.
