Miles knocking on the AFL door with a sledge hammer

Soldo with 54 hitouts, 4 clearances and 2 goals. We just might have one here. The Nankervis and Soldo show.

C Ellis with good contested possessions.

    Garthwaite covered 15kms!!!!!!!!

That game was good for player confidence and for keeping the players in the senior team honest , however I'll reserve my judgement on how good a performance it was until I see the scores in North Ballarat's next few games.

It's very possible they could get beaten by 400pts this week...and 300 the week after , which would make our performance against them look ordinary.

    :)

Playing a crap team or not for a KPD to cover 15kms in a game is insane. Must have been ball chasing? The ball can't have gone into the back line that many times? Seems odd.

    Soldo coming along nicely

Garthwaite played man on man and sweeper. He took on part of the Broad role. Batch played the deep, stay at home keeper and Ryan manned up and would then work off his man the moment we won the ball. Needs a little more bulk and needs to smoothen his kicking action a little but I would think he'll make it. Right now would see him as cover for Dylan but he's tall enough to possibly play a KPD role if he fills out.

For his size, yes. But better than that, he runs the right angles and reads the play well.
